“Dentistry is a rapidly advancing field from a technical perspective, but the best part of being a dentist is getting to know our wonderful patients and serving their needs. I often get to meet enjoyable and interesting people who make my job a pleasure. Many patients appreciate being involved in the process of restoring their oral health and transforming their smiles. I strive to involve them in this, and they appreciate the respect I give them. It helps that I have been drawn to artistic pursuits throughout my life. For example, I apply my training and experience in painting and drawing to transform my patients’ smiles into ideal natural beauty. I look forward to serving my community every day. Gentleness, kindness, personalized attention to detail, and comfort are my goals for every patient, every visit.”
Experience
Dr. Jergins grew up in Hillsborough County, where his father built neighborhoods as a general contractor and his mother was a school administrator. He enjoys oil painting, playing classical guitar and baroque lute, music composition (particularly string quartets), and baking what some say is the best chocolate ganache cake ever. Dr. Jergins and his wife have a daughter in law school and a son who is a Division 1 student-athlete. Dr. Jergins previously served as a long-time examiner-consultant for the State of Florida in the administration of the state dental board exam. He has completed over 150 hours of training in the placement and restoration of implants, including supervised live patient treatment; and hundreds of implants placed successfully. Dr. Jergins has been listed as one of the Top Dentists in the Tampa Bay region. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the West Coast District Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy,
